App Store
- Standard install path for most users.
- Current public pricing and purchase flow live here.
- Best default choice if you do not specifically need broader cleanup access.
The App Store remains the standard public path for most users. The Direct build is an alternative install path for advanced workflows that can require broader macOS access. It is not a separate web checkout today.
The two distribution paths are intentionally not presented as equal storefronts. One is the main public commerce path; the other is an advanced-access build.
Unlock happens inside the Direct app. The site only distributes the DMG and explains the current flow.
Today, the App Store remains the primary public commerce path. The Direct build is not a separate web checkout yet.
The Direct app checks the purchase from this Mac through StoreKit. You do not sign in on the website.
The Direct app reads your App Store purchase, sends the original transaction ID to the backend, and requests a Direct license.
If the purchase verifies successfully, the backend issues the Direct license and the app unlocks on this Mac.
If you already bought StorageRadar on the App Store, the next step after download is inside the app: sign in on this Mac with the Apple ID that bought StorageRadar, then press "I purchased in App Store".
